In the third quarter of 2025, the sandbox-like games category on the Android platform in Russia saw varied performances across the top applications. Here's a look at the key metrics for each app based on data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating, starting at around 173K in early July and peaking at 208K by late July. The weekly active users consistently rose, beginning at 15.3M and reaching approximately 17.9M by the end of September.

Steal n Catch the Brainrot experienced an impressive surge in weekly downloads, starting with 1.7K and climbing to a peak of 104K by late August, before tapering off to 58K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a significant increase, from 1.4K in July to an impressive 368K in late September.

Blox World saw its weekly downloads decline from 123K in mid-July to 16K by the end of September. Similarly, active users decreased from 450K to around 92K over the quarter.

Minicraft maintained steady weekly downloads, ranging from 55K to 67K, with a small dip towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 476K and ending at 449K.
